Dinosaurs are Cool. And there are a lot of their bones, and other cool stuff at the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia.

It seems like only yesterday that I got my first book on dinosaurs. It was a How and Why Wonder Book. I was in first grade and I was fascinated. Back then all we had were the basics. The Brontosaurus, the Tyrannosaurus, the Stegosaurus. and a few others. I was so excited seeing them when my dad took me to the New York World’s Fair.
I was in Philadelphia this weekend with my nephew Mike and we were headed to another favorite museum The Franklin institute when my nephew saw dinosaurs in front ot the Academy of Natural Sciences. Seems he loves them as much as me. Of course we went in and discovered not only dinosaur bones and skeletons but all kinds of other exhibits about the natural wonders of our planet. And these days there are hundreds of different names for the many species of dinosaurs they have discovered. And it seems my nephew knew them all. The photographs speak for themselves.
