Greenridge Sunset.
Have you ever seen a sunset you didn’t like? I haven’t. And I have been watching them from the rocks behind my house since I was in third grade. Well from late March until early September anyway, that is when the sun sets on the northern side of the ridge I live on.
We used to call these rocks “the view” because, of course, of the view of the mountains to the north and west. I would spend many hours sitting on these rocks and watched many sunsets from out here.
However, as you can see the trees have grown in considerably since I was in third grade, it was a long, long time ago, and there is not so much of a view anymore. It may be time to get out there with a saw an do some trimming. Still , if you position yourself right you can catch the sunset. unfortunately today it was the clouds that moved in, and no the trees that obscured the sunset. It still was nice sitting in the woods and listening to the birds singing their nightly songs. It sure is a nice time of year.
Here is a link to a few more photographs I took sitting n the rocks waiting for the sunset. https://keepyoureyespeeled.net/photographs-5/nggallery/blog-photos/greenridge-sunset-may-14-2015
