It seems our world here in Northeastern Pennsylvania has been transformed almost overnight. We have had a couple of days of warm weather and the flowers are blooming everywhere  and the trees seem to have grown leaves overnight. Well not the oak trees, they are always the last to grow and shed their leaves. macro walk (16 of 27)

Love walking this time of year. everything is so alive. Robins and other birds are busy building their nests, the bees and other insects are now visiting the blooming flowers and and the local humans are  mowing their lawns and planting flowers and vegetables.

It is a good time of year. I took my macro lens on a short hike through my neighborhood to get a closer look at this wonderful Spring world, and as always once again discovered the easy to find beauty of nature.  What a beautiful world we live in.  We may get some showers here tonight,  but that okay, it will only mean more May flowers. macro walk (23 of 27)

Flowers… are a proud assertion that a ray of beauty outvalues all the utilities of the world. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
