Was an absolutely gorgeous  Spring day here in Northeastern Pennsylvania.  The sunshine and warm temperatures sure are welcome. Flowers, trees and plants continue to come back to life and every day brings something new to see.macro (17 of 20)

I didn’t have much time to get out today so took my camera and macro lens  for a short hike to the ponds near my house. Love looking at familiar plants and flowers through the macro lens, Still not many bees, butterflies or insects out yet but did see a six spotted tiger beetle which looked pretty cool up close.six spotted tiger beatle (11 of 20)

It is such a pleasure to be able to walk in the warm sunshine and take in all of the new growth taking place every day. And was pleasantly surprised to find nesting pairs of geese and ducks on the ponds. I thought the late melting of the ice would prevent them from nesting there this year. looks like i may get to photograph the cute goslings and ducklings again.macro (9 of 20)

Didn’t have a lot of time so not much else to report but always nice to be outdoors, especially in the spring. Here is a link to some more photos I took on my hike today.  https://keepyoureyespeeled.net/photographs-5/nggallery/blog-photos/april-walk-29-2015
