Squirrel Cuckoo, Crooked Tree Lagoon, Belize 2/16/2015

This is new to me, so not sure if I’m breaking any blogging rules with my third post today, but wanted to share some of the many photographs I took of the beautiful bird species that live here around the lagoon at Crooked tree.  This photo wasn’t taken at a zoo, but from our boat, when we toured the lagoon Monday morning. we must keep these natural areas safe to preserve this beauty for future generations.  I posted a few more photos here on my blog/website and some more on my Flicker site at this link. https://flic.kr/s/aHsk8vCkL1
